Rachel is a Veteran Stylist formerly of our friends over at SHAG86! Rachel and Catrina attended Beauty school together and worked along side each other for over 10 Years. Rachel offers Color, Cut, Lightening Services and Men’s grooming.Rachel has trained in some of the top renowned companies in the beauty industry like WELLA, Goldwell, Olaplex, TIGI and Keratin complex to name a few. Rachel or “Rach” as we like to call her, is a Cancer, loves Halloween, and has a flair for making all kinds of soup!  She grew up in her Grandmother’s salon, where her Mom and aunts were her first Mentors. We’d say she’s a perfect fit!

A Message from Rachel:

Growing up, my grandmother owned and operated a salon with my mother, aunt and godmother which is where my start began. Spending time in the back room playing with my doll’s hair trying to imitate them still is one of my best memories. Fast forward to graduation from cosmetology school at Artistic Academy, (where I met Catrina)I landed my first salon job at 21 years old, where I spent the next 13 years until I had my first child. (Where I worked with Catrina) During those 13 years I was groomed and taught everything I know from my talented co workers and also attended many classes and obtained many certifications from companies like, Wella, TIGI, Goldwell, Olaplex, Keratin complex among others.

I am excited to join the Banshee Team and I can not wait to meet all of you!

What's one of my favorite tips for maintaining Healthy Hair?

I love working with Davines. The sachets are my favorite way to keep your hair extra healthy. And they cover all hair types. My personal go to is the Quick fix circle. It has been so helpful after having a baby and the hormonal change in my hair.

One of my biggest challenges after having a baby is feeling comfortable in my clothes again. After each pregnancy I relied heavily on my postpartum trainer. She does both in person or private zoom lessons. Makes it So easy to schedule with my busy life. Kendra, of Devoted Mamas has been so supportive during this phase. She is very knowledgeable and takes her time to really pay attention to your personal needs. 

Looking to give a little baby gift?

I highly recommend this adorable play gym. As you know babies lose interest very quickly so we have to rotate their little chairs and activities throughout the day. This play gym is easily portable, and takes up minimal space. Keeps him busy and bouncy!! It also has features that continue to change with his growing brain and body. Cancellations / No Shows / No Calls / Late / Re-Do + Guest Policies:

Your appointments and convenience are of high importance to us. We realize that at times unexpected circumstances may require schedule adjustments.  Appointments are specifically reserved for yourself and for your stylist. Our salon booking and cancellation policy is intended to ensure that we have the opportunity to fill any last-minute availability. We are committed to offering you the highest possible level of service during your appointment with us.

We respectfully request: 72 HOURS NOTICE for large appointments (lightening services, smoothing treatments, and bridal.) 48 HOURS NOTICE (color retouch, haircut, blowout, lashes, makeup and formal styling)

If you need to cancel your appointment because of a personal or medical emergency please contact us as soon as possible and we can decide how to best proceed.

In order to help facilitate smooth booking and cancellations of appointments made within our salon software, our salon requires a credit card be kept on file for every client when booking any and all services.
*Your data is kept safe & secure by Poynt, our POS terminal & system which is fully PCI DSS and PCI PTS certified.

BOOKING/ DEPOSIT POLICY 
*$50 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT, which will be applied to your service the day of.  (All new color/lightening services, smoothing treatments, lashes).
*20% NON REFUNDABLE deposit on Bridal services
CANCELLATION POLICY 
*50% NON REFUNDABLE CANCELLATION FEE WILL APPLY TO SELECT SERVICES CANCELED WITHIN 72 HOURS large services/ 48 HOURS small services
*100% NON REFUNDABLE CHARGE FOR NO SHOW/ NO CALL
LATE POLICY 
*A 15 minute grace period for late arrival in case you were unexpectedly delayed. Should you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we cannot guarantee that we will provide the service. If you think you are going to be late please call us so that we can adjust our schedule. Please understand that if you are late respectively, we will charge 50% of the service amount and require that you rebook your appointment. (50% charge applies to any scheduled services that were NOT provided the day of your appointment)
In turn, if your stylist is running late please expect a courtesy call from us ahead of time to let you know.
*If you show up extremely late, which will be determined depending on the time and situation, this may be considered the same as a No Show / No Call, (which could result in a 100% NON REFUNDABLE CHARGE)
RE-DO POLICY
* If your service needs an adjustment, we allow a 10 day grace period. If you contact us beyond 10 days, you will be charged for services provided by your stylist.
GUEST POLICY 
* Please do not bring any extra guest to your appointment (including children) If they are not being serviced. Please call us ahead of your appointment time if this is an issue.
*Banshee + Co. reserves the rights to make changes to this Cancellation / No Show / No Call Policy at any time, with or without notice.  It is at our discretion at all times, if we are to provide or deny services to any new or existing customers or clients for any reason that we might deem appropriate pertaining to any given situation that may develop between our salon, our staff and or any client or customer.
Thank you for your understanding, your cooperation & your respect for our Company, our staff and the very carefully thought-out policies + procedures that we have developed & put into place here.
