Hi, it’s Marisa!

I created this GoFundMe to help my Aunt financially recover from the loss of income she has faced due to my uncles illness + the continued financial hardships ahead.

Giovanni Fusco was born a musician. From a very young age his perfect pitch and impeccable ear for sounds made him a passionate piano student, drummer and percussionist, and later in life a musical engineer.

With 30+ years of playing, writing, and recording music in NYC with some of the best musicians around, Gio’s passion for music was his life’s passion. Gio built a studio in his garage with the hopes of getting back to the studio life he loved and missed so much. His studio’s progress was documented on his FB page to the amazement of all who followed him. The beautiful studio was completed, but sadly never used.
Shortly after it’s completion, Giovanni was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer and began chemo and radiation therapy. Never giving up, Gio completed his treatment in the beginning of 2023. For two months after, he revisited the idea of going in his studio, only to become sick again in the Spring and then diagnosed at the end of July with PML (Progressive Multifocal Leukoencephalopathy) . To make matters worse, on September 7th a tree fell on top of the studio, destroying the studio in its entirety. As of now insurance will not cover the damage.

G’s wife Minna owns her own hair salon and it has become increasingly difficult to manage her business on top of everything else. Unfortunately, there is no cure or good outlook on Giovanni’s diagnoses. He is no longer able to work or think/speak clearly and his condition is rapidly declining. Any donation would be greatly appreciated during this hard time.

Marisa loves all things beauty, so it was only natural for her to pursue her education and career in Hairdressing 5 years ago.  She loves making people feel comfortable in their own skin when they are in her chair. Marisa has trained extensively under Catrina and Heather for the last 2 years sharping her skills in advanced cutting, coloring, lightening, bridal and smoothing treatments to become a well rounded educated stylist. There is no lack of talent when you are in Marisa’s hands!

Cancellations / No Shows / No Calls / Late / Re-Do + Guest Policies:

Your appointments and convenience are of high importance to us. We realize that at times unexpected circumstances may require schedule adjustments.  Appointments are specifically reserved for yourself and for your stylist. Our salon booking and cancellation policy is intended to ensure that we have the opportunity to fill any last-minute availability. We are committed to offering you the highest possible level of service during your appointment with us.

We respectfully request: 72 HOURS NOTICE for large appointments (lightening services, smoothing treatments, and bridal.) 48 HOURS NOTICE (color retouch, haircut, blowout, lashes, makeup and formal styling)

If you need to cancel your appointment because of a personal or medical emergency please contact us as soon as possible and we can decide how to best proceed.

In order to help facilitate smooth booking and cancellations of appointments made within our salon software, our salon requires a credit card be kept on file for every client when booking any and all services.
*Your data is kept safe & secure by Poynt, our POS terminal & system which is fully PCI DSS and PCI PTS certified.

BOOKING/ DEPOSIT POLICY 
*$50 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT, which will be applied to your service the day of.  (All new color/lightening services, smoothing treatments, lashes).
*20% NON REFUNDABLE deposit on Bridal services
CANCELLATION POLICY 
*50% NON REFUNDABLE CANCELLATION FEE WILL APPLY TO SELECT SERVICES CANCELED WITHIN 72 HOURS large services/ 48 HOURS small services
*100% NON REFUNDABLE CHARGE FOR NO SHOW/ NO CALL
LATE POLICY 
*A 15 minute grace period for late arrival in case you were unexpectedly delayed. Should you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we cannot guarantee that we will provide the service. If you think you are going to be late please call us so that we can adjust our schedule. Please understand that if you are late respectively, we will charge 50% of the service amount and require that you rebook your appointment. (50% charge applies to any scheduled services that were NOT provided the day of your appointment)
In turn, if your stylist is running late please expect a courtesy call from us ahead of time to let you know.
*If you show up extremely late, which will be determined depending on the time and situation, this may be considered the same as a No Show / No Call, (which could result in a 100% NON REFUNDABLE CHARGE)
RE-DO POLICY
* If your service needs an adjustment, we allow a 10 day grace period. If you contact us beyond 10 days, you will be charged for services provided by your stylist.
GUEST POLICY 
* Please do not bring any extra guest to your appointment (including children) If they are not being serviced. Please call us ahead of your appointment time if this is an issue.
*Banshee + Co. reserves the rights to make changes to this Cancellation / No Show / No Call Policy at any time, with or without notice.  It is at our discretion at all times, if we are to provide or deny services to any new or existing customers or clients for any reason that we might deem appropriate pertaining to any given situation that may develop between our salon, our staff and or any client or customer.
