What information is collected and stored?

We collect and store information that you enter into this website or that you provide to customer service. For example, when you open an account or place an order: name, billing address, shipping address, email, telephone number, credit card number and expiration date. This is used to provide products and services, process and ship orders, send confirmations, and provide customer service. It may also be used for our own marketing and to contact you about sales and special offers unless you have opted out.

We also collect IP address, browser information, and referring domain automatically, plus traffic patterns and site usage, to improve the site.

Like many websites, we use cookies. Cookies do not contain personally identifiable information. They help identify account holders, keep a shopping cart, and improve the shopping experience. Account information is stored on the server, not in cookies.

Comments

If you leave a comment we collect the data shown in the form, plus IP address and browser user agent for spam detection. An anonymized hash of your email may be sent to Gravatar.

Media

If you upload images, avoid embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can extract location data from images on the website.

Cookies

Comment cookies (name, email, website) last one year if you opt in. Login sets a temporary cookie to test cookie support, then cookies for login (two days, or two weeks with “Remember me”) and screen options (one year).

Comments and metadata are retained indefinitely so follow-ups can be recognized. Registered users’ profile data can be edited or deleted by the user (except username).

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Orders and bookings also go through Vagaro (PCI DSS / PCI PTS certified).

We use security measures including SSL encryption. If you place an order you will set up an account with email and password. Do not share your password. Report loss or unauthorized use to customer service.
